Red Coaters

The Chiefs Red Coaters are a special group of dedicated fans who support the Chiefs and the National Football League. They are official representatives to the community and are a vital part of the Chiefs organization. As a part of this group, each Red Coater has exhibited their loyalty by meeting specific requirements necessary to earn and maintain their Red Coat.

Why should I become a Red Coater?

Many of the benefits of being a Red Coater include:

• Association with a group dedicated to making the Chiefs experience the best and unique to the National Football League

• Participation in special events and activities exclusively for Red Coaters

• Recognition throughout the community and specifically at Chiefs games

• Opportunity to earn unique prizes

• Involvement in the spirit funnel before each game

How do I become a Red Coater?
After successfully undergoing an interview process in February, selected candidates will be offered the opportunity to participate in a year-long Red Coat Apprenticeship program. Upon completion of the program and meeting the necessary requirements, Apprentices will be awarded their Red Coat. Requirements include being a season ticket holder, being actively involved in the organization, and achieving specified service and sales goals.
