Hello Chiefs fans…
Well I am finally back in Kansas City with the cold weather! I miss the warm sunshine already. I had a wonderful weekend in Hawaii. The game was amazing. Unfortunately the AFC lost, but the Chiefs players represented our city well. We had the best time ever. The fans were great and there were tons of Chiefs fans there. I even started to do the chop whenever I’d spot them.
We added some
professional photos of the game
to the photo gallery (courtesy of Wire Image) so you all can see what it looked like. I can’t take credit for
these… there’s no place to put a camera on my uniform.
Monday and Tuesday were days to relax. I finally had a chance to have some free time and just enjoy the sights and sounds of Hawaii. I made sure I spent some time laying out on the beach. I had to get my tan. I also did some shopping and got some sleep. Honestly, I don’t know how I fit everything in my bags when I was packing to go home. I left with so much more than I came with. I had to jam in all of my gifts and souvenirs. I definitely got a good work out carrying those bags.
I just want everyone to know how much I appreciate this experience. I felt so honored and blessed this past week. I made so many new friends and I will cherish them forever. I’m so proud of our organization too. I felt proud to represent the Chiefs and everything that we and the city of Kansas City stand for.
I can’t wait to share stories with the rest of my girls from the Chiefs Cheerleaders. I also want to thank them so much for believing in me to represent all of them. This is definitely one of the biggest highlights of my life. I will never forget this trip and everything that went along with it.
Mahalo (thanks)
Love, Amy
