Chiefs Acquire C/G Andy Alleman and G Ikechuku Ndukwe in Trade with Dolphins

allemanThe Kansas City Chiefs announced on Monday that the club has acquired C/G Andy Alleman and G Ikechuku Ndukwe (pronounced E-K-choo-koo IN-duke-way) from Miami in exchange for an undisclosed selection in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Alleman (6-4, 310) played in 15 regular season games (four starts) and started one playoff contest at left guard with Miami in 2008. He originally entered the NFL as a third-round pick (88th overall) with New Orleans in 2007. The Akron, Ohio native started 24 contests at right guard during his final two collegiate seasons at Akron. He began his college career at Pittsburgh where he played in 24 contests as a defensive lineman. He prepped at Washington High School in Massillon, Ohio.

Ndukwe (6-4, 325) has appeared in 21 games (15 starts) and two playoff contests (one start) with Baltimore (2006-07) and Miami (2007-08). He saw action in all 16 regular season games with 15 starts at right guard for the Dolphins a year ago. Ndukwe also started one playoff game for Miami in 2008. He originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with New Orleans in 2005. Ndukwe was a four-year letterman at Northwestern, starting the final 25 games of his collegiate career. The Morgantown, West Virginia native was a prep standout at Coffman High School in Dublin, Ohio.
