Nov 29, 2009, 7:57:36 PMColquitt Sets KC Single-Season Record For Punts Inside the 20: P Dustin Colquitt landed his 30th punts of the season inside the 20-yard line in the first quarter, breaking the franchise single-season record of 29 established by P Louie Aguiar in ‘95. He now has 31 punts inside the 20 on the season.
Long Drives: The Chiefs have registered 91-yard TD drives in back-to-back games, Kansas City’s longest scoring drives of the year.
Chambers’ Day: In four games with Kansas City, WR Chris Chambers now has three TD receptions. Chambers now has 56 career TD catches. He scored on a seven-yard TD reception at San Diego (11/29). Chambers also registered a season-high seven receptions.
Charles in Charge: RB Jamaal Charles registered a four-yard TD, the second rushing TD of his career. Charles established a career high with 147 yards from scrimmage (93 rushing, 54 receiving), breaking his previous mark of 117 yards from scrimmage which he most recently accumulated at Oakland (11/5).
Flowers’ Daily Double: CB Brandon Flowers forced and recovered a RB LaDainian Tomlinson fumble. Flowers now has two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries on the season. He has three career forced fumbles and four career fumble recoveries.
